Funded by Toronto Employment and Social Services (TESS) for 33 seats annually, TradeLinx (Formerly I’m Eglington) has been changing lives since 2016. The program is a 12-week construction trades pre-apprenticeship training program serving disadvantaged youth 18-29 in the GTA. Core components of the program include soft skills, including life skills, essential skills to employment, Health and Safety certifications and hands-on technical training. 2-3 cohorts are delivered annually and all efforts are made by our staff to connect these graduates into union training programs or go directly to work depending on the individual’s experience and career path.
